What we collect

What you give us

• Your account: your name and email address. If you sign up with a password, we store it only as a secure hash, never in readable form. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID from Google
• A phone number, if you add one, so the arena you book can reach you
• Your profile, all optional: a photo, gender, date of birth, a short bio, your city and your favourite sports
• Your bookings: the arena, court, sport, date, time and price, and whether you cancelled
• Your reviews: the star rating and anything you write about an arena
• Arena details, for owners and staff: the venue's name, location, opening hours, courts, prices, photos and phone number, and the email addresses of staff you invite
• Anything you send us when you write to us

What we record as you use NetSlot

• Sign-in sessions: a record of each device you are signed in on, so you stay signed in and can sign out of all of them at once
• What you agreed to: which version of these terms and this policy you accepted when you signed up, and when
• Wrong password attempts, counted so that password sign-in can be paused for a while after too many guesses
• Staff activity on an arena: what staff change in the arena dashboard, such as accepting a booking, kept in a log the arena owner can see
• Request logs: which page or address of our service was asked for, when, and whether it worked. They help us find faults and are kept for 30 days

Your location, only if you ask

When you choose “Near me” on the arenas page, your browser asks for your permission first. We round your location to about 100 metres and keep it in a cookie on your own device for 30 days, so the list can show the nearest arenas. It is sent with your searches to sort them and is not saved in our database. When you search for a place instead, what you type is sent to Google to suggest matching places.

How we use it

• To create and run your account, and keep it secure
• To take your booking requests to arenas, and to tell you by email when an arena accepts, declines or cancels, or when a request runs out
• To email you sign-in and password reset codes
• To show arenas, courts, prices, availability and reviews to everyone browsing
• To let arena owners and their staff manage their venue and its bookings
• To answer you when you write to us

We do not use analytics or advertising tools, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not send marketing messages.

Who sees what

• The arena you book sees your name, your phone number if you added one, and the details of that booking, so it can accept it and reach you
• Everyone can see the reviews you write, with your name, your profile photo if you have one, and the arena they are about
• An arena owner can see their staff's names and what they changed in the dashboard
• Arenas and other players never see your email address, date of birth, gender, bio, city or favourite sports. The one exception is arena staff: the owner sees the email address they invited you with

Companies that help us run NetSlot

A few companies handle information for us, only to provide their part of the service:

• Amazon Web Services hosts NetSlot: the website, the database and uploaded photos
• Resend delivers our emails, such as booking updates and sign-in codes
• Google provides Google sign-in, and place search and maps

We do not sell your information. We would share it with authorities only when the law requires us to.

Where your information is kept

NetSlot's servers and database are in Amazon Web Services' Singapore region, so your information is stored outside Pakistan. Resend and Google may process the information they handle for us in other countries too.

Payments

Today you pay the arena directly, in cash, when you arrive. NetSlot takes no payment and collects no card or bank details. The arena records on the booking whether it has been paid. If we add online payment, this policy will say how it works before it goes live.

How long we keep it

• Your account and profile, until you delete your account
• Bookings, for as long as the arena needs them as its record. After you delete your account they are kept without your name or contact details
• The record of which terms and policy you agreed to, even after deletion, as evidence of what was agreed
• Sign-in and reset codes, a few minutes
• Request logs, 30 days

Your choices

• See and change your details on your profile. To change the email address you sign in with, write to support@netslot.pk
• Delete your account from Sign-in & security. You are signed out everywhere at once, and you have 30 days to change your mind by signing in again. After that your name, profile and photo are removed, your email, phone and sign-in details are deleted, and your reviews are deleted. Bookings stay with the arenas without your name. Upcoming bookings need cancelling first
• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by writing to privacy@netslot.pk
• Keep your location to yourself: “Near me” is optional, and you can turn location off in your browser at any time

Children

NetSlot is for people aged 13 and over. We do not ask for a date of birth when you sign up. If we learn that someone under 13 has an account, we will delete it. If you think a child has signed up, write to privacy@netslot.pk.

Keeping it safe

• Passwords are stored only as secure hashes
• Password sign-in pauses for a while after several wrong attempts
• Everything between your device and NetSlot is encrypted in transit
• Sign-in cookies cannot be read by scripts on the page, and are sent only over secure connections

No system is perfectly secure. If something goes wrong that affects your information, we will tell you.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your information, we will tell you before it takes effect. We keep a record of which version you agreed to.
